Are you dreaming of studying in the UK? The Commonwealth Masters Scholarship program is now accepting applications for 2025!

This prestigious, fully-funded scholarship covers all your expenses, from tuition fees to travel costs, plus a monthly living allowance of £1,652.

What You Need to Know About the 2025 Commonwealth Masters Scholarship:

Starting on September 10, 2024, applications will open for students from eligible developing countries.

This scholarship, managed by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC), is more than just a chance to study abroad.

It’s part of the UK’s ongoing commitment to international development through education. The CSC aims to find exceptional talent from all backgrounds, helping you become a leader and innovator in your home country.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this life-changing opportunity, you must:

  • Be a citizen or hold refugee status from an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
  • Live permanently in an eligible Commonwealth country.
  • Be ready to start your studies in the UK by September 2024.
  • Have earned at least an upper second-class (2:1) honours degree, or a lower second-class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification (like a Master’s degree) by September 2024.*
  • If this would be your second Master’s degree, explain why you want to pursue it—this usually isn’t funded unless you can justify it.
  • Show that you wouldn’t be able to study in the UK without this scholarship.
  • Ensure all your supporting documents are in the correct format when you apply.

What’s in It for You?

The scholarship covers:

  • Your airfare from your home country to the UK and back at the end of your studies (note: travel costs for dependants aren’t included).
  • Full tuition fees, so you don’t have to worry about that expense.
  • A monthly living stipend of £1,347, or £1,652 if you’re studying in London.
  • A warm clothing allowance if you need it.
  • A study travel grant to help with any study-related travel costs within the UK or overseas.
  • A child allowance if you’re a single parent, widowed, or divorced, with children living with you in the UK: £576.61 per month for your first child, and £143 per month for your second and third children under 16.
