Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ensure all workshop activities comply with safety and quality standards.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide guidance to technicians.
- Maintain workshop equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Oversee inventory management of parts and materials.
- Prepare and review reports on workshop activities, repairs, and vehicle performance.
- Train and mentor new staff, ensuring continuous development of the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a workshop supervisor, preferably in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in automotive engineering (preferred).
