Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet wholesale targets and expand the customer base.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wholesale market.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers and suppliers.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
    • Monitor market trends and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
    • Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer demands.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Monitor stock rotation to minimize wastage and manage slow-moving inventory.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of sales representatives, warehouse staff, and other relevant personnel.
    • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team success.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to improve team capabilities.
  5. Operations Management:
    • Ensure that wholesale operations run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
    • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to enhance productivity and maintain quality standards.
    • Monitor and analyze operational performance, making adjustments as needed.
  6. Financial Management:
    • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for wholesale operations.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure profitability by controlling costs.
    • Oversee payment collections and credit terms with clients to maintain cash flow.
  7. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer information.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in wholesale or sales management (3+ years preferred).
  • Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and logistics.
