WEB DEVELOPER
We are looking for an if degree holder with multi-tasking excellent communication skills, and an upbeat attitude to be engaged as a Web Developer.
The Web developer at HCUC helps the university maintain a strong, secure, and appealing presence online by managing the website and its related web pages. The manager oversees the functionality of the website, evaluates and manages website performance, facilitates hosting and server management, develops, maintains, and updates website content in consultation with the Director of Media and Public Affairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design, develop, maintain, manage, and enhance all Heritage-related websites.
2. Update the website with events on campus dally.
3. Develop and align website content to support organizational goals and strategies
4. Complete tests to ensure website efficiency and quality.
5. Create strategies to improve website traffic.
6. Identify ways to improve website user experience
7. implement security measures to protect websites.
8. Keep the website's domain and hosting registration current.
9. Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws, regulations, and best practices,
10. Evaluate competitors websites to improve Heritage's
online presence.

 11. Manage pay-per-click and search engine optimization
campaigns. 

12. Monitor for website security breaches and respond to them as needed.
13. Produce sitemaps that represent and visualize the website's structure and functions

Qualification, Skills & Experience

• Degree in IT. Computer Science, or any related programme
•  A minimum of 2 yean post-qualification experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and communicate with different stakeholder.
• Razor-sharp problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to leam quickly.
• Proven aptitude to manage and juggle many competing priorities is essential
• Adept at making assessments quickly and identifying the best course of action.
•  Commitment to thinking critically and creatively about social change
• . Good project management skills
