Requirements:
• Degree/ HND in Procurement and Supply Chain/ Purchasing and Supply from a recognized institution with minimum of 2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven knowledge and experience in related field
• Must be attentive to details
• Knowledge of warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be proactive and innovative
Job Responsibilities:
• Receiving and entering Invoices from Suppliers to the software.
• Receiving and checking goods from Suppliers (local and Import) to ensure the right quality and quantities are supplied.
• Inspect and check incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, defects, or bad dates (stocks with less than 18 months to expiry) reporting any issues to the warehouse manager and coordinating with vendors or suppliers for resolution.
• Perform physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks to ensure accuracy of inventory records and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
• Supervise the picking and packing orders, selecting items from inventory, assembling orders, and preparing them for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of order fulfilment.
• Monitoring expiries to ensure that expiry products are reduced to the bare minimum.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock replenishment needs, alerting warehouse manager and procurement officer of low stock levels, overstock situations, or potential stockouts to facilitate timely ordering and replenishment.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and stock adjustments, documenting inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers in inventory management systems and maintaining accurate records
• Involved in stock management and stock-taking when need be.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and company policies governing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
