Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Intern in Food and Nutrition to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of nutrition, working closely with experienced professionals to support food and nutrition programs, research, and client services. You will assist with data collection, meal planning, food preparation, and various nutrition-related tasks, contributing to the development of healthy eating programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of nutrition-related reports, presentations, and research documents.
• Support food and nutrition programs, including meal planning and food preparation.
• Conduct research on current nutrition trends, dietary guidelines, and food safety practices.
• Collect and analyze data related to nutrition and dietary habits.
• Help with client consultations, including food diary reviews and basic nutritional advice under supervision.
• Maintain and update nutrition databases and records.
• Participate in community outreach or educational events on food and nutrition.
• Support daily administrative tasks within the food and nutrition department.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in nutrition, health, and wellness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
