Your Tasks As an International Management Trainee at Stadler Rail Service, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Working closely with senior management and gain an understanding of the company's operations and strategic objectives.
Participating in training programs and on-the-job learning experiences to develop your skills and knowledge.
Collaborating with colleagues from different departments and locations to achieve business goals.
Contributing to the development and implementation of new strategies and initiatives.
Creating presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior man-agement.
Leading and managing cross-functional projects to ensure successful delivery.
Coordinating with maintenance locations and project teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
Supporting the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.
Traveling to different locations to gain exposure to different markets and cultures, and to support project delivery.

The program Our 18-month trainee program is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of our business and the skills you need to succeed in a fast-paced, global environment. You will work in different depart-ments, countries and locations, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in the following areas:



Train Maintenance: Work hands-on as a maintenance employee and learn about the key components of our vehicles. Take on the role of a Deputy Location Manager and gain experience in managing a team.
Project Management: Learn all the tools used for project management and manage subprojects as a Junior Commercial Project Leader.
Maintenance Support: Understand the life cycle calculation and maintenance software functionality. Supporting to set up new maintenance locations all over the world.
Additionally, we will provide you with training inputs into strategy, finance, leadership and so on at our headquarters in Bussnang, Switzerland.


 Your Profile



Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business Administration
Mandatory: excellent communication skills in German are needed (at least C1)
Quick comprehension and high willingness to learn
A large amount of commitment and high self-initiative
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to relocate and work in different locations around the world
