Planning and attending local Career Fairs
Ensures a strong Health and Safety and Security culture exists including being responsible for Safety Audits, WCB Claims Management and administration of WCB Claims. Acts as Secretary of the Health and Safety Committee.

Direct communication with colleagues at all levels on an ongoing basis, in order to identify opportunities and challenges and communicating this information to appropriate

Assists Department Heads and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified.
Keeping a pulse on the day to day environment while assisting in maintaining office coverage in the Human Resources Office during periods of absences such as vacations, absences due to training, work assignments, etc.
Supports the Regional Trainer in conducting needs analysis and follow up activities related to training programs in addition to scheduling and organizing such training, particularly as it relates to Health and Safety, Service Promise, Train the Trainer, Interaction Management, Leadership Orientation and CES.
Responsible for the Talent and Culutre Department.
Assist the T&C Team in the co-ordination of staff related activities and programs including our recognition program and Employee Anniversary Awards, Annual Colleague Party and any other colleague events.
Foster and promote positive Colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust and mutual respect.
Advise and assist with the interpretation of T&C policies and procedures; applicable legislation and the Collective Agreement.
Be a role model within the hotel and exhibit and practice professional leadership skills, which are fully aligned with our culture.
Oversee the Colleague Housing units and colleague Public areas to ensure House Rules are adhered to by all colleagues.
Responsible for the T&C Budget and considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets.
Oversee the activities of the Colleague Restaurant in liaison with the Executive Chef and ensure that colleagues have a balanced diet.
Qualifications
Related University Degree/College Diploma in Human Resources is strongly recommended. CHRP designation is also considered a definite asset.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a Human Resources Management position specifically in recruiting and health & safety.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a high degree of organizational and administrative ability.
Must be able to identify with and create a rapport within our diverse multi-cultural environment and to address challenges as they arise.
Proven ability to professionally address difficult and challenging issues with all levels of Leaders and Colleagues.
Must be professional, highly productive, self-motivated and energetic.
