Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy and Planning:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  3. Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet production and customer needs.

Procurement and Vendor Management:

  1. Oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods, materials, and services.
  2. Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  3. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Logistics and Distribution:

  1. Coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Monitor shipping schedules and manage logistics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  3. Optimize warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and stock levels.

Inventory and Demand Management:

  1. Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  2. Implement inventory management systems to track and manage stock accurately.
  3. Collaborate with production and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.

Cost Optimization and Efficiency:

  1. Identify opportunities to reduce costs across the supply chain.
  2. Implement best practices to improve supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
  3. Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with financial goals.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  1. Lead and manage supply chain staff, including training and performance evaluations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service.
  3. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  1. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards in supply chain operations.
  2. Identify and mitigate risks, including disruptions in supply and logistics.
  3. Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
