Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain detailed financial records and reports that provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Generate and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that all financial activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information, as well as assisting with tax filings and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Verify that all company expenditures, bank deposits, and payments are accurately recorded and posted in the accounting system.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage and allocate company assets effectively, ensuring optimal utilization and reporting.
  • Provide exceptional support to both internal and external customers regarding the use of accounting software, addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • A valid Accounting Certification is required, showcasing your commitment to the profession.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience with various accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Odoo, Zoho, Sage, or Netsuite is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

 

Practical Requirements:

  • Must have access to reliable high-speed internet for video conferencing and remote work, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace that is free from external noise and distractions, allowing for focused and productive work.
