Who We Are Recruiting for the Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Designer who can contribute to our mission by building and maintaining a professional online presence. If you have a passion for WordPress design, at least 3+ years of experience, and can multitask efficiently, this could be the perfect role for you. As part of our volunteer-based team, you will help design, develop, and enhance our website to align with our brand and facilitate our services, including job board listings and career resources.

Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development:

Design and develop WordPress websites, integrating key functionalities such as payment systems and live chat plugins.
Customize themes and plugins to align with our organization's branding and goals.

Collaboration & Content Management:

Collaborate closely with the team to update website content and ensure brand consistency.
Optimize website performance, including SEO, speed, and mobile responsiveness.

Security & Troubleshooting:

Implement security measures to protect the website and user data.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or bugs that may arise.
Efficiently manage multiple aspects of website development and maintenance.

Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in WordPress design and development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work (Note: Applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
Skills: Proficiency in WordPress, including experience with setting up payment systems, live chat plugins, and theme customization. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website customization.
Optimization: Strong understanding of website optimization, SEO best practices, and security protocols.
Technical Needs: Fast internet connection, stable electricity, and a reliable computer are essential.
