JOB DESCRIPTION


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop plans to expand credit/lending, savings, and investments/wealth management - onboarding new partners and/or new product for both existing and new markets.
  • Work within strategic market segments with strong growth opportunities and to manage a diverse credit/lending, savings and investments need of MML customers.
  • Leverage the expertise in the industry to develop comprehensive solutions for all consumer and business segments including women, artisans, creative artists among others.
  • Lead team and stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives to transform the end-to-end customer experience from robust and relevant customer journeys on all digital channels including – App, USSD and others. 
  • Continuously ensure robust processes, procedures, and programs to management goals, monitor/measure performance and redirecting activities as required to achieve desired result.
  • Liaise with Commercial, Technology and Business Intelligence and other stakeholders to assess the value, usability and feasibility features and optimize the credit/lending, savings, and investment/wealth management experience to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Specify, prioritize, and communicate high-level and detailed specifications for credit/lending, savings, and investments products and services, ensuring products concept documentation, customer journeys/flows and UX/UI designs are synchronised.
  • Liaise with all functions effectively to improve relationships and to design, implement, monitor, and inject best practice across the industry. 
  • Identify and document key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions, with guidance from the risks and compliance team. 
  • Manage the product lifecycle of each service – credit/lending, savings and investments/wealth management portfolios and execute strategies to enhance and renovate the offering where applicable. 
  • Responsible for managing other verticals like savings, investments, and wealth management. 



Education

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business & Commerce, Business Administration or related field
  • Professional certification a must
  • Postgraduate qualification a plus



Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a similar position with at lease 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in Fintech, banking or financial services is mandatory.
  • Successful track record as a senior management professional in delivering exceptional Fintech products, business growth & financial results.
  • Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding emerging market
