JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Responsibilities
Leadership Training and Development:

  • Design and implement leadership development programs tailored for mid to senior-level leaders in government and corporate institutions.
  • Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars focused on leadership, team dynamics, and personal development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the Human Capacity Development portfolio within Lead For Ghana.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, corporate institutions, and development partners to secure contracts and funding for capacity-building initiatives.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage partnerships to achieve business targets.

Program Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of capacity development programs, including needs assessment, curriculum development, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Ensure all programs are aligned with Lead For Ghana’s mission and strategic goals, maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Oversee the recruitment and management of external facilitators, consultants, and subject matter experts to support program delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior government officials, corporate leaders, and donors.
  • Serve as a Lead For Ghana representative in forums and events related to leadership development and capacity building.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align human capacity development initiatives with other organizational goals and programs.

Reporting and Evaluation:

  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of leadership development programs.
  • Prepare and present reports on program outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and operational policies in managing program budgets and resources.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in leadership development, capacity building, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, including securing partnerships and funding for programs.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Leadership, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful training programs for government and/or corporate institutions.

Additional Information

  • This position requires occasional evening and weekend work to meet program and business development goals.
  • The role may evolve as the organization grows and as new opportunities for human capacity development emerge.
