Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to meet our business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, to ensure technical requirements are met and business objectives are achieved. You will also provide mentorship to junior and intermediate AWS professionals, helping them grow and excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Strategize, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure that supports business objectives. Ensure the cloud architecture aligns with best practices and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with various teams, including development and operations, to clarify technical requirements and ensure alignment on infrastructure needs.
- Participation in Meetings: Actively participate in standups, sprint planning, design, architecture, and other planning meetings to contribute insights, provide updates, and help define solutions.
- Support and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior and intermediate AWS professionals, helping them improve their skills and effectively contribute to team projects.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a backend developer, with a focus on web-based applications. A strong track record of working with AWS cloud services is essential.
- AWS Expertise: Extensive understanding of cloud architecture and AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and IAM.
- Strong Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and SQL databases.
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Java and cloud technologies like React and TypeScript.
Preferred Skills & Qualities:
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in designing and deploying scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
