Position Overview 

Mirepa Capital Ltd. seeks an experienced and dedicated Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Analyst will support our mission by analyzing and providing insights into various thematic areas, supporting interventions across diverse projects, and preparing businesses for investment readiness. This role requires a professional with a robust understanding of multiple sectors, exposure to rural communities, and a commitment to impact-driven work. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Project Support: Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of SME-focused interventions, ensuring alignment with key thematic areas: job creation, climate resilience, financing, investment readiness, and business scaling. 

● Sector Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of various sectors, particularly agriculture, education, technology, fintech, and light manufacturing, to provide actionable insights for intervention strategies. 

● Entrepreneur Support: Engage with and support entrepreneurs in developing sustainable, investment-ready businesses, with a particular focus on women-led enterprises. 

● Data Collection & Financial Modeling: Gather and analyze data from rural communities, prepare financial models, and conduct financial analyses to assess the impact and scalability of SME interventions. 

● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with external consultants, development partners, and local communities to ensure the successful execution of projects. 

● Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and case studies to document findings, outcomes, and insights from interventions. 

 Qualifications 

● Experience: 5-10 years in development consulting, impact investing, management consulting, or a related field. 

● Sector Knowledge: Prior experience in agriculture, education, technology, fintech, and light manufacturing, with demonstrated engagement across various value chains and rural community initiatives. 

● Entrepreneurial Insight: Demonstrated experience working with entrepreneurs, particularly in education, technology, and climate-focused businesses. 

● Investment Readiness: Understanding of early-stage business requirements for capital attraction; experience with accelerator or incubator programs is a plus. 

● Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills are preferred. 

● Travel Ability: Willingness to travel up to 25% within Ghana and across project sites in Africa. 

● Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, interacting with diverse stakeholders and supporting cross-functional teams.
