JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Responsibilities

  • Enters new customer data into SAP after order confirmation to open accounts for them according to predefined financial terms. Balances the monthly sales plan on the SAP system.
  • Sends Inquiry, Confirmed Orders to Product Management.
  • Ensures that the product assortment meets the specifications of the target markets with Product Management.
  • Ensures that the required quantities of products are available on time, and reviews the available alternatives with the country manager to make the appropriate decision.
  • Calculates the number of containers equivalent to the volume of products requested in the sales order and prepares a detailed loading plan to plan the tonnage of shipments.
  • Generates the sales order and proforma invoice and sends it to the customer.
  • Sends the proforma invoice to Drawback Support to obtain the necessary approvals for the export support program.
  • Designs accurate loading plans on the system, taking into account the size and dimensions of the products, to maximize the use of the Container capacity.
  • Follows up with Finance to receive bank transfer receipts from customers and ensure that they comply with the agreed terms.
  • Sends the proforma invoice with the customer's data to Logistics Operation, as well as the loading plan to follow up on the loading and stacking of the products inside the container as agreed.
  • Reviews and confirms shipping and loading dates with the customer and informs Logistics Operation of the agreed deadline.
  • Receives the copy of the bill of lading and reviews it with the customer to confirm its conformity.
  • Follows up on the implementation of the PSI for each country and submits periodic reports on realization rates and reasons for deviations.
  • Provides the country manager with the necessary data and information to follow up on the collection of customer dues in a timely manner.
  • Fulfills and registers the company's data on import platforms in the target markets.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of experience.
  • Kenyan applicants are only applicable to apply.
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis.
  • Excellent motivational skills and works well with a team, but also able to work alone.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques.
  • Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry.
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail
