Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Set sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics for the sales team.
  3. Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them.

Team Leadership and Development:

  1. Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  2. Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching.
  3. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on achieving results.

Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  2. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction.
  3. Develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base and retain existing clients.

Sales Operations:

  1. Monitor and analyze sales data, generating reports on team performance and market trends.
  2. Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure consistent progress toward revenue goals.
  3. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with broader company initiatives.

Market Analysis and Insights:

  1. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  2. Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  3. Adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and feedback.

Budget and Resource Management:

  1. Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  2. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients in line with company policies.
  3. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards in all sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in sales, with at least 2–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and CRM software.
