JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Activities:
- Identify, approach, and onboard new clients and dealers within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field visits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and dealers, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures in managing cash and credit customer transactions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors’ pricing, and promotional schemes to identify opportunities for product improvement and market advantage.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Frequency and effectiveness of customer visits and follow-ups.
- Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
- Timeliness and quality of market intelligence reports.
- Adherence to company sales processes and procedures.
- Conversion rate of sales leads into actual customers.
- Revenue growth within assigned territory.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar role within a related industry.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic IT tools, especially MS Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and convince customers.
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and product knowledge.
