Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the laboratory’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and Intertek guidelines
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring ongoing compliance with accreditation standards and managing corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing results by establishing and monitoring quality control procedures, calibrating equipment, and investigating deviations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and analyze data to enhance laboratory processes, testing accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients on quality-related issues and ensure all laboratory activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Microbiology, Agricultural Science, or a related field, with certification in Quality Management or ISO standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a quality management role, preferably within an Agri laboratory setting.
- Proven track record in maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and a solid understanding of Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills, with proficiency in data management, auditing, and report writing.
