PROJECT MANAGER - SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

 Job Description

• Analysis of the German labour market with the aim of targeting the shortage of skilled labor in particularly relevant areas of industry and the service sector.
• Familiarizing themselves with, and explaining the basics of German dual vocational education and training to young  Ghanaians who are willing to complete training in Germany. 
• Selection of suitable candidates for an apprenticeship or internship at German companies. 
• Overseeing of the matching process between shortlisted applicants and German companies. 
• Support in the linguistic and cultural preparation of the departing Ghanaians, in the visa application and other administrative measures. 
• Management of the budget as well as regular reporting to the team leader and to senior management. 

 Minimum Requirements

We are looking for a team player with good administrative and interpersonal skills. A critical thinker, a resourceful professional with an eye for detail, capable of making good judgements, comfortable in a multi-cultural setting and with a good sense of initiative to start and complete projects successfully. 

•  Relevant degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience in areas such as Business Management, Capacity Building and Recruitment, etc.
•  Experience in project management.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
• Ability to build, maintain and extend industry-specific networks.
•  Good working relationship with the TVET stakeholders e.g. Government and private training institutions and related organizations in Ghana is an advantage.
• German language skills or the willingness to learn the German language. 
• Willingness to travel within Ghana or abroad.
