JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
- Implement effective project management tools and techniques to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee crop production activities, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
- Manage livestock operations, including breeding, feeding, and health monitoring.
- Implement sustainable agricultural practices to minimize environmental impact.
- Lead and motivate a team of agricultural experts, technicians, and laborers.
- Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide necessary training and support.
- Develop and manage project budgets.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, government agencies, and local communities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and challenges.
- Collect and analyze data on project performance, crop yields, and financial metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Looking for Indian origin person settled in Ghana.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the agriculture sector.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop production, livestock management, and post-harvest handling.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Experience in implementing sustainable agriculture practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
