JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the design and execution of research projects, including literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Develop and implement research methodologies and strategies to generate meaningful insights.
- Synthesize complex data and provide actionable recommendations to inform programmatic decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of research initiatives, ensuring quality and accuracy of data.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant data and ensure research objectives are met.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in research methods and best practices.
- Manage and coordinate key programs within the organization, ensuring they align with overall strategic goals.
- Develop program goals, objectives, and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Lead programmatic teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective implementation.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure programs are integrated across organizational functions.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on program performance, results, and challenges.
- Ensure that programs meet regulatory, compliance, and budgetary requirements.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Policy, Public Health, Business Administration, etc.).
- At least 5-7 years of experience in research, program management, or a related field, with a focus on strategic leadership.
- Experience managing large-scale research projects and programs, ideally in a senior role.
- Proven experience in designing research methodologies, data collection, and analysis.
- Strong background in program management, including planning, budgeting, and evaluation.
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and/or project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to research and program management.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community groups.
