A reputable investment banking firm is seeking to employ an experienced and motivated professional to occupy the role of Products, Channels and Customer Service Officer.
The Products, Channels & Customer Service Officer will assist in product development, client engagement and new business for the various products and services. The person will support the company's strategy for building a leading investment banking business, with specific but not limited to focus on driving the growth of assets under management and general corporate reach by bringing in new business via traditional and digital channels. The person must have a fair knowledge of fund management and capital markets, in addition to outstanding skill in harnessing the relationship between the organisation and its clientele.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
You will specifically be responsible for executing the Company's sales and marketing strategy, this will include but will not limited to the following
* Create new products
* Manage social media channels and ensure strong visibility of the company, its products and services as well as activities via constant, active engagement.
* Have good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to engage and win over potential clients.
* Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
* Create a sales pipeline by generating leads and seeking out the appropriate contacts in/for organizations, mass market and High Net Worth Individuals.
* Develop excellent relations with clients, understand client needs and lead the resolution of client complaints in an effective, satisfactory manner
* Other duties, tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Key Requirements
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/ Finance/ Administration or related area from a recognized University.
* Certification for completing the appropriate courses organised by Ghana Investment and Securities Institute (GISI) or Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE)
* Minimum work experience of 3 years in sales/marketing with a financial institution, preferably within the mutual fund/collective investment/trustee industry
* Practical experience in product/business development isa plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Strong oral/written communication skills, presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills.
* Negotiation skills
* Understanding of standards of data privacy, business principles and practices, integrity, honesty.
* Attention to details and capable of prioritizing and delivering resuits with minimal supervision.
* Excellent organizational and management skills.
* Good personal grooming and impeccable appearance at all times
* Ability to work under pressure
