JOB DESCRIPTION
What you’ll do:
- Infrastructure Design & Maintenance: Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure to support product development and deployment.
- Cloud Management: Manage cloud-based (AWS) environments, optimising performance and cost.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Pulumi or similar tools to automate provisioning and deployment.
- Collaboration with Product Teams: Work closely with software engineers to optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Lead root cause analysis and resolution for infrastructure-related incidents.
What we’re looking for:
- 3 + years of experience in either Platform Engineering (or related fields)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Ability to script and automate tasks using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
