JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement demand forecasting strategies to optimize stock levels.
- Manage inventory planning and replenishment processes to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer demand to make data-driven planning decisions.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and merchandising teams to ensure efficient product flow.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory and supply chain disruptions.
- Optimize product ordering cycles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize planning tools and ERP systems to streamline demand and supply management.
- Continuously improve planning processes to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager or in a similar role within the retail, FMCG, or e-commerce sector.
- Expertise in inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain planning.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
- Experience working with ERP systems and planning software.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
