JOB DESCRIPTION
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the global People team to get the best out of our people
- Support recruitment efforts (including carrying our screening calls)
- Run payroll for US and Canadian entities
- Advise on employment law matters
- Be the go to person for all things People in LA/West Coast
- Grow and develop the Moonvalley culture
What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
- Proven capability in a broad People role
- Experience in building People processes for efficiency and scale
- Experience in fast growth companies
- US and Canadian employment law knowledge
- Experience working in DeepTech or Film will be looked highly upon
- Familiarity with HRIS’s (we use Rippling)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
