Ensure all works are completed in a safe manner and in compliance with safe work procedures and systems (i.e. Field Level Risk Assessments, Job Hazard Analysis, Permits).
Maintain and inspect electrical tools, lifting and working-at-heights equipment to ensure compliance and safety. Maintain accurate registers for this equipment.
Create requisitions for parts and components, completing documentation for returns and daily work orders.
Confirm required parts for planned maintenance using SAP and collaborate with planning and warehouse teams to ensure availability.
Coordinate repairs for workshop equipment through external suppliers. Creating requisitions and dispatch requests. Ensuring the equipment ready for safe transportation and delivery to relevant warehouse dispatch points.
Manage inventory and stock levels for GET and welding consumables, ensuring availability for the teams.
Provide quality weekly handovers.
Support improvement projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and uphold housekeeping standards.
About You:
We are seeking a self-motivated, productive individual with a team-oriented approach.
You bring experience in a workshop, stores, or maintenance environment and demonstrate competent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and SAP.
A C-class manual driver’s license and forklift HRWL is mandatory.
Welding and store fabrication consumables knowledge
An understanding of the chain of responsibility for preparing items for transport as per legislation.
MR-class driver’s license
High-risk work licenses (crane, rigging, dogging, elevated work platform)
Working at Heights certification
Senior First Aid Certificate
