Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement M&E Frameworks:
    • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plans.
    • Develop tools and methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Ensure M&E frameworks are aligned with project objectives and organizational goals.
  2. Monitoring Activities:
    • Track progress and performance of project activities against key indicators.
    • Conduct regular field visits to assess the quality of implementation and provide feedback.
    • Identify challenges and recommend corrective actions to improve project outcomes.
  3. Evaluation:
    • Conduct baseline, midline, and end-line evaluations to measure program impact.
    • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess program effectiveness.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on evaluation findings.
  4. Data Management and Analysis:
    • Collect, manage, and validate project data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Utilize data analysis software to generate reports and dashboards.
    • Maintain databases and documentation for M&E activities.
  5. Reporting:
    • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to stakeholders, including donors and management.
    • Ensure that reports highlight achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
    • Share findings and best practices to inform future program strategies.
  6. Capacity Building:
    • Train and support project staff and stakeholders in M&E processes and tools.
    • Promote a culture of accountability and results-oriented programming.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with project teams, partners, and donors to ensure alignment of M&E activities.
    • Communicate M&E findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
  8. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all M&E activities comply with organizational and donor requirements.
    • Maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, project management, or a related role.
    • Familiarity with M&E frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
    • Proficiency in M&E software and tools, such as SPSS, Stata, or Power BI.
    • Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
    • Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
