JOB DESCRIPTIONS 


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with INVEST staff, and partners to ensure the correct use of data collection tools and forms are developed by the project
  • Assist in regular gathering of information from the staff and partners to ensure  all data collected from activities are entered in the Monitoring and Evaluation database system 
  • Ensure partner supporting documents are downloaded, verified and archived into the INVEST google drive accounts and interact with them if needed to solve data quality issues
  • Ensure aggregation, cleaning and exploitation of Monitoring and Evaluation data from field activities and correct entry in the system
  • Conduct the physical and electronic archiving of all documents and scan documents needed to store; cross-check physical archiving and electronic system to ensure consistency and maintain overall data integrity
  • Participate in pre-assignment training
  • Participate in at least 3 public engagement initiatives before, during, or after the assignment. Volunteers will be equipped with the tools, training, and support to achieve these goals. Volunteers will also have one virtual check-in with the Public Engagement Officer throughout the course of their assignment
  • Set up a personalized volunteer fundraising page on the WUSC fundraising platform and share it in your networks. Volunteers will be supported with the tools, training and support to achieve the fundraising goal
  • Submit reports as required by the partner organization and by WUSC.

Experience and Qualifications

  •  Degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field
  • Three (3)  years’ experience in the design and/or implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/ Government
  •  Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software
  • Experience in analyzing data using statistical software
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and analysis
  • A commitment to gender equality, youth inclusion, and international volunteering
  • Flexibility, adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Experience with group facilitation and trainings, including content development considered an asset
  • Experience living and working internationally considered an asset
  • Written and oral fluency in English.
