Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Identify and recruit potential clients for microfinance products and services.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs.
    • Educate clients on financial literacy and the benefits of microfinance services.
  2. Loan Assessment and Processing:
    • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ eligibility for loans.
    • Prepare, process, and submit loan applications in line with organizational procedures.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete before loan approval.
  3. Loan Disbursement and Monitoring:
    • Disburse approved loans promptly and accurately.
    • Monitor the utilization of loans to ensure they align with the intended purpose.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to track progress and repayment status.
  4. Repayment Collection and Recovery:
    • Manage loan repayment schedules and ensure timely collection of dues.
    • Address repayment delays or defaults by coordinating recovery strategies.
  5. Training and Capacity Building:
    • Conduct financial literacy workshops and training sessions for clients.
    • Guide clients on savings, investments, and income-generating activities.
  6. Reporting and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, loans, and client interactions.
    • Prepare regular reports on loan performance, repayment rates, and client feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  7. Market Research and Product Development:
    • Gather insights on market trends and the financial needs of the community.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and improve microfinance products and services.
  8. Customer Support:
    • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Resolve disputes or issues related to loans and financial services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Additional certifications in microfinance or financial services are a plus.
  2. Experience:
    • Previous experience in banking, microfinance, or financial services is preferred.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in financial management and credit analysis.
    • Familiarity with microfinance software and tools is an advantage.
  4. Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
    • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
