Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Setup:
- Install and configure mechanical equipment and machinery according to specifications.
- Conduct equipment setup and test operations to verify functionality.
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, performing repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Inspections and Diagnostics:
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment and systems are functioning correctly and comply with safety regulations.
- Use diagnostic tools to analyze equipment performance and detect potential issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare reports on equipment performance, repair needs, and recommendations for improvements.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all equipment and repairs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements.
- Suggest modifications and upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and techniques for identifying mechanical issues.
