Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Officer to join our team at a radio station in Accra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential business clients and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and advertising sales. This role offers a lucrative commission structure, with a 40% revenue split on all income generated by the Marketing Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new business clients to the radio station.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with companies across various industries in Ghana.
- Identify advertising opportunities and sell advertising space, sponsorships, and other promotional packages.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations to promote radio station offerings.
- Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue targets to support the station’s financial goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to keep the station's marketing strategy competitive.
- Work closely with the programming and production teams to align advertising content with station brand and audience preferences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Officer, preferably in media, advertising, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong network within the business community in Ghana.
- Self-motivated, with a passion for sales and meeting targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
