Job Objectives
To develop and implement marketing strategies that will promote company's cement products to masons, distributors, and contractors. Generate demand for cement products and maintain a favorable image of the company in the marketplace and within the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the cement company's products and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct market analysis and identify target markets and segments for the cement products.
• Define pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Market Research:
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and potential market opportunities for cement products.
• Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay up-to-date with the cement market.
Marketing Campaigns:
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (online, offline, trade shows, etc.) to promote cement products.
• Create compelling content and messaging that highlights the unique features and benefits of the cement products.
• Collaborate with advertising agencies and media partners to optimize campaign reach and impact.
Stakeholder Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, architects, engineers, and construction companies.
• Engage with industry experts, trade associations, and regulatory bodies to enhance the company's reputation and influence.
Sales Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop product positioning strategies that resonate with the target audience.
• Provide sales teams with marketing materials, sales tools, and training to support their efforts in selling cement products.
• Gather feedback from the sales team to refine marketing strategies and improve product messaging.
Brand Management:
• Manage and enhance the cement company's brand image and reputation through consistent messaging and branding guidelines.
• Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, website content, and social media profiles.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
• Monitor and control marketing expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Performance Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives using relevant metrics and key performance indicators.
• Use data and insights to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.
• Regularly report on marketing performance to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommended actions.
Competitor Analysis:
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to understand the strengths, weaknesses, and strategies of competing cement companies.
• Benchmark the cement company's products, pricing, and marketing efforts against competitors.
• Identify opportunities for differentiation and develop strategies to gain a competitive advantage.
Compliance:
• Ensure that all marketing activities and materials comply with legal and regulatory requirements related to advertising, labeling, and product claims.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure adherence and avoid potential compliance issues.
Key Requirements
Academic/Professional Qualifications and Work Experience
• A minimum of a Degree in Marketing or a related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
