JOB DESCRIPTION

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:

  • Establish positioning, identify target clients, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote COA’s herbal products.

· Lead Marketing Execution:

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.

· Market Research & Analysis:

  • Lead market research initiatives to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.

· Content Creation & Management:

  • Manage the creation of compelling marketing content, including digital campaigns, social media, print, and events.
  • Oversee the development of branding initiatives and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.

· Sales & Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to design and execute promotional activities that boost product visibility and sales.

· Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations and tactics.

· Budget Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum Return On Investment (ROI) for all campaigns and initiatives.

· Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.

· Innovation & Industry Trends:

  • Drive innovation in marketing approaches, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

· Presentation & Travel:

  • 15-minute PowerPoint Presentation on your objectives for the company and how you will achieve your set objectives.
  • Be willing to travel when duty calls.


 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) would be an added advantage.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, or herbal medicine industry.

- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and platforms.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
