Responsibilities

Operational Delivery

  • Manage the BI and Channel teams under his responsibility
  • Develop BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards, analytic solutions), in collaboration with the team, to provide data necessary to effectively make business decisions and measure goal attainment and overall performance 
  • Ensure dashboards are regularly updated to enable the regional and partners teams to monitor the business performance and KPIs (Financial and Non Financial)
  • Oversee forecasting/planning, reporting, analytics, target setting and management, sales support, sales compensation design and administration, sales IT and Technology Enablement. 
  • Collate, analyze, and evaluate data to increase sales productivity and performance in Sales & Distribution division. This includes providing recommendations on an optimal incentive structure to boost channel performance
  • Oversee GTM readiness for all sales initiatives. (with cross functional departments)
  • Continuously evaluate regional performance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Oversee Engine Room activities by driving key business metrics and producing dashboards to provide 360-degree view of the business. 
  • Guide the sales operational business plan and escalate any deviation on a periodic basis. 
  • Support analysis on ROI regarding potential business development initiatives. 
  • Conduct periodic audit on S&D financial numbers vs. available data and escalate 
  • Define and execute the internal and external performance management framework. 
  • Define and ensure the implementation of tools and metrics to measure performance of sales and distribution activities. 
  • Undertake work-stream planning process Including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions that emphasize speed to market results
  • Guide business areas identifying new data needs and delivery mechanisms for reporting information as well as self-service solutions
  • Management and monitoring of Sales and Distribution budget and Cost of Sales
  • Follow up internal and external sales and distribution performance to ensure alignment with defined business performance principles and expected outcomes.
  • Work with business areas to adapt their business processes to effectively use enterprise data sources for information and analytical needs


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of 4 years tertiary qualification in Quantitative/ Business Administration /Management of Information Systems / Sales Management/Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant field (Master’s degree in IT preferable or relevant professional qualification will be advantageous)
  • Fluent in language of country with basic command of English

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence / Data Analytics role, with experience in supervising/managing others; 
  • Experience working a Sales & Distribution in FMCG or Fintech
  • Working experience in BI, customer and point of sales insight or data analytics related senior role
  • Knowledge of modern Big Data platforms and Open-Source solutions to database, data analysis, and data management.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in data reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Deep knowledge and experience in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, SAS, etc)
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence / Data Analytics role, with experience in supervising/managing others;
