JOB DESCRIPTION



Position Summary

This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of human resources management. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning actions to meet organizational goals and promoting a productive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key Measures of Success

  • Staff Culture - facilitate a trusting, collaborative, and meaningful experience: staff retention and experience are used as benchmarks.
  • Leadership Development - build the leadership capacity of LFG staff with a focus on their short term and long term leadership development. 


Primary Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

  • Foster meaningful relationships within the organization and oversee various aspects of human resources.


Professional Development:

  • Plan and deliver professional development workshops.
  • Implement continuous professional development programs.
  • Develop a learning and development strategy.


Team Management:

  • Manage the HR function and oversee the growth of the HR team.


Strategy and Framework Development:

  • Establish a resourcing and skills framework.
  • Review and implement pay and reward strategies.


Data Management:

  • Provide accurate management information.
  • Lead employee engagement surveys.
  • Conduct salary and bonus reviews.


Legal and Best Practice Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to legal guidelines and industry best practices in all HR activities.
  • Coordinate HR activities and maintain the Staff Handbook.
  • Advise the senior leadership team on HR matters to ensure legal compliance and best practice adherence.

Education and Experience 

  • Graduate /Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field with at least 3 years of experience preferred. 
  • Undergraduate Degree with, at least, 5-years experience, desired. 
  • Experience delivering meaningful, and high impact lessons and workshops.
