JOB DESCRIPTION



Position Summary
This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of sales and talent acquisition. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning actions to meet organizational goals and promoting a movement of potential candidates across our major University campuses.

Primary Responsibilities:
Brand Development:

  • Cultivate a strong brand presence for Lead For Ghana on campus, adeptly promoting the Lead For Ghana Leadership Development Program to students, finalists, and recent graduates from target universities.

Talent Identification:

  • Identify and influence high-potential candidates at assigned universities to engage with Lead For Ghana’s vision by leading and conducting events on campus.

Network Building:

  • Establish, nurture, and sustain valuable relationships with diverse networks at assigned universities, including STEM societies and various social/cultural clubs on campus.
  • Develop and implement clear communication plans to engage key stakeholders with Lead For Ghana’s vision.

Candidate Engagement:

  • Maintain contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process in accordance with the guidelines set by the Selection and Matriculation team.

Talent Cultivation:

  • Nurture potential talent and incoming participants through events, frequent phone calls, and meetings, utilizing persuasive techniques and relationship management skills.
  • Foster a sense of community within the incoming cohort through events and relationship management.

Team Management:

  • Supervise teams of brand managers at university campuses, providing feedback on their performance as needed.

Long-Term Strategy:

  • Develop a Lead For Ghana movement across first and second-year talent pools at target universities to ensure sustainable future growth of the organization.

Budget Management:

  • Manage budget for assigned universities and maintain detailed records of campus activity.

Education and Experience 

  • Graduate /Professional Degree in Sales or Marketing or a related field with at least 3 years of experience preferred. 
  • Undergraduate Degree with, at least, 5-years experience, desired. 


NB: The position requires occasional evening and weekend work to ensure effective outcomes.
