Key Responsibilities:
- General Assistance:
- Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and arranging materials or products.
- Assist machine operators and production workers as needed.
- Production Support:
- Handle raw materials and supplies for production lines.
- Monitor and feed materials into machines or assembly lines.
- Pack, label, and stack finished products for storage or shipment.
- Maintenance and Cleaning:
- Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean and free from debris.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as directed, such as cleaning equipment or replacing simple parts.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect materials and products for defects or damages.
- Report any issues or irregularities to supervisors or quality control personnel.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to supervisors.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in stock-taking and inventory management activities.
- Organize materials and supplies in designated areas.
- Collaboration:
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- No formal education required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a factory or production environment is an advantage but not required.
- On-the-job training is typically provided.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Good physical stamina and strength.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with basic factory equipment and safety practices is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a factory or production setting, which may involve exposure to noise, heat, or machinery.
- Shifts may include early mornings, nights, weekends, or overtime.
