Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Duties:

  1. Identify and source quality suppliers for goods and services.
  2. Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  3. Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective deals.
  4. Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  5. Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, products, and pricing.
  6. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and ethical standards.

Logistics Duties:

  1. Plan and coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
  2. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing costs.
  3. Oversee the import/export process, ensuring all documentation and regulations are met.
  4. Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and transport providers.
  5. Optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  6. Handle any logistical challenges or disruptions, providing solutions promptly.

Administrative Duties:

  1. Prepare procurement and logistics reports for management review.
  2. Maintain accurate records of all purchases, deliveries, and inventory.
  3. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in procurement and logistics.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to forecast supply needs and manage budgets effectively.

Risk Management:

  1. Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain and logistics operations.
  2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  3. Manage and resolve any issues related to damaged goods or delayed deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
