Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations Management:

  1. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of office IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
  2. Ensure the availability and functionality of IT infrastructure to support organizational activities.
  3. Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Team Supervision and Leadership:

  1. Manage and provide leadership to the IT team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  2. Conduct regular training and professional development for IT staff.
  3. Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  1. Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy in collaboration with senior management.
  2. Plan and implement upgrades, system migrations, and new technology rollouts.
  3. Identify and recommend emerging technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Budget and Resource Management:

  1. Prepare and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  2. Procure and manage IT equipment, software licenses, and contracts with vendors.
  3. Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper utilization.

Network and Security Oversight:

  1. Ensure the security of the organization’s IT systems by implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures.
  2. Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents.
  3. Regularly back up data and maintain disaster recovery plans.

Technical Support and Customer Service:

  1. Oversee IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for employees.
  2. Act as a liaison between IT staff and other departments to address technology needs.
  3. Maintain strong communication with external vendors and service providers.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  1. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and IT-related legal requirements.
  2. Conduct regular audits of IT systems and processes to identify risks and areas for improvement.
  3. Develop contingency plans for system failures and other IT emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are an advantage.
