General Duty:
As a Life Planner, you will be responsible for selling life insurance policies to individuals and businesses, helping clients achieve their financial goals and secure their loved ones’ futures.
How to Go About:
- Identify and approach potential clients through various channels (e.g., referrals, networking events, online marketing, field trips etc)
- Conduct needs assessments to understand clients’ financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance
- Present tailored life insurance solutions, explaining policy terms, benefits, and costs
- Address client concerns and objections, providing expert guidance and support
- Facilitate policy applications, underwriting, and issuance
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing service and support
What it Entails:
- Developing and maintaining a client base
- Meeting sales targets and performance goals
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, products, and regulations
- Collaborating with other professionals (e.g., Sales Managers, financial advisors, experienced colleagues etc.)
- Managing administrative tasks (e.g., paperwork, data entry)
- Effective use of Sales portal (preparing itinerary, reporting sales productivity etc)
