Yango looking for HR Generalist in Ghana to join our team at and act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners, lead HR operations and issues of payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and benefits.
Responsibilities
Develop strong HR processes and brand in the country.
Manage the payroll process: maintain 100% accuracy during the payroll cycle, working closely with the finance team and Payroll Accountant;
Improve and maintain HR processes and HR policy of the company in accordance with HQ standards and local legislation;
Oversee HR operations in the country: hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR operations such as confirmation letters, benefit administration, and employee support with HR-related questions;
Assist with migration cases and onboarding of foreign employees;
Storage and exchange HR documents and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies;
Act as a representative of an Employer at grievance meetings, disciplinary, appeal and any other relevant meetings;
Represent the company in government authorities if necessary.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience working in the human resources field;
5 years of experience working with the HR documents (creating Employee agreements, addendums, orders, policies etc.);
Ability to o work with minimum supervision, develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;
Excellent knowledge of country Labor law;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
