Responsibilities
Community Engagement:
- Foster a positive school culture and environment.
- Address stakeholder concerns and promote a culture of belonging. Maintain visibility and engage with the community.
Curriculum and Programs:
- Prioritize student needs in decision-making.
- Implement and develop the IB programs (PYP, MYP, DP).
- Ensure high academic standards and compliance with accreditation standards.
- Faculty and Staff Management:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to cultivate a cohesive school ethos.
- Oversee hiring, mentoring, and performance appraisal of faculty.
- Promote professional development opportunities.
- Governance, Finances, and Facilities:
- Implement the strategic vision aligned with the Board of Directors.
- Ensure financial sustainability and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain effective communication and well-maintained facilities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education or related field.
- Professional fluency in English and German (C2 level).
- 5–10 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in an international or IB setting.
- In-depth knowledge of IB pedagogy and international education standards.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for holistic student development.
- Proven experience in data-driven decision-making, utilizing assessment results and feedback to inform educational practices and enhance student outcomes.
- Strong commitment to fostering a positive school culture that emphasizes social-emotional learning and the well-being of all students and staff.
