Job Summary
The role is responsible for customer acquisition, driving sales, revenue and business growth.
This role requires a proactive approach to researching trends, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and implementing sales and marketing plans.
Technical Requirements
* Ability to lead in the development of sales & marketing strategy.
* Ability to deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
* A good understanding of the businesses' products or services and value propositions
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
* Research Experience
* Digital and Technological Sales experience.
* Product development
* A deep understanding of marketing principles with commercial acumen
* Experience in business development activities and processes
* Writing business proposal
* Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Qualification
* Minimum of BSc/BA Business Administration (Marketing Option), BSc/BA in Agribusiness or Agric Economics
* A Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy. Marketing and related fields
* A professional qualification is desired
* Not less than ten (10) years experience with 5 years in a middle to Senior management position
* Not less than 5 years proven experience in a relevant and similar role
* Experience in Crop Protection Industry is a plus
* Ability to speak multiple local languages and French is a plus
* Proven track record of success in business development, sales and marketing roles, preferably in the agrochemical industry
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
* Willingness to travel as required.
