ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a well-estoblished 2-star hotel in Cape Coast, offering 45 operational rooms, a variety of dining options including a restaurant and coffee shop, recreational amenities such as swimming pools and a crocodile pond, and a 150-seater conference hall, is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manoger.
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead the hotel team and manage the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including the restaurant, bar, swimming pools,
crocodile pond, coffee shop, events arounds, and conference hall.
Develop and implement strategies to maximum profitability and ensure the highest standards guest service
Manage and mentor hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of excellence.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Engage with guests, addressing any concerns or feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy rates and promote the hotels amenities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a first degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 7 years of proven experience in hotel management, with a track record of success in a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
In-depth understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and events management.
Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
