JOB DESCRIPTION


What You'll Do  

The Warehouse Operator will be a member of the Fulfillment Operations team, executing a number of tasks related, but not limited to, the preparation of life-saving packages meant for delivery to Zipline's customers. These responsibilities encompass picking and packing orders, conducting cycle counts, completing checklists, and ensuring the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. This role demands attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include:

Inventory Receipt, Storage and Audits

  • Accurately receive inventory into the Zipline inventory management software system
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track and record all movements of goods
  • Ensure the received inventory is appropriately stored within the required storage locations and conditions (temperature requirements)
  • Assist in the periodic completion of Stock audits and audit reconciliations

Picking and Packing

  • Accurately pick products from storage based on incoming orders
  • Pack and label picked orders accurately, ensuring items are securely packaged while following the standard operating procedures
  • Perform quality checks on items picked and packed to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements
  • General Warehouse Cleanliness and Safety
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols
    • Complete routine checklists for operations accurately
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with specialist operators, flight operators and customer care teams to coordinate daily operations and prioritize tasks

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Support other warehouse functions and team members as required. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings


What You'll Bring  

  • Essential: Higher National Diploma, Diploma, or other vocational training certificates; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management or a related field is a plus.
  • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Passionate about making sure that each component of our supply chain and order processing is handled perfectly.
  • Proactive with excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Obsessed with customer experience and making sure the quality of our deliveries consistently exceeds expectations.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude, a collaborator who wants to succeed while also helping teammates grow.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and handheld devices for order processing.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety guidelines.
  • Must be eligible to work in Ghana.

What Else You Need To Know   

  • Must be willing and able to work nights/weekends.
  • Must be willing to work for a period of 48 hours/week.
  • Must be willing to relocate to our distribution center in Vobsi, North East Region of Ghana.
  • This job will require standing, walking and lifting products and objects regularly.
