Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:

  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  2. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  1. Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial plans.
  2. Monitor actual spending against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  3. Recommend cost-saving measures and strategies to optimize financial performance.

Accounts Management:

  1. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  2. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial records.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Compliance and Audit Support:

  1. Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  2. Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
  3. Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.

Payroll Administration:

  1. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and deductions.
  2. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, such as taxes and social security contributions.

Cash Flow Management:

  1. Monitor cash flow to ensure the organization can meet its financial obligations.
  2. Manage bank accounts and relationships with financial institutions.
  3. Plan for future financial needs and recommend funding strategies.

Support for Decision-Making:

  1. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  2. Contribute to strategic planning by evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
  3. Assist in the preparation of financial proposals and investment analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CFA are preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.
