Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and monitor financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Analyze financial reports and provide insights to improve financial performance.
    • Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  2. Budget Management:
    • Oversee the preparation and implementation of budgets across departments.
    • Ensure budget adherence and provide variance analysis.
    • Adjust financial plans based on changes in business priorities or performance.
  3. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
    • Provide periodic updates on financial status, risks, and opportunities.
  4. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
    • Manage cash flow to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
    • Monitor liquidity and oversee investment decisions.
    • Establish effective relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
    • Conduct internal audits to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Develop and enforce controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
  6. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor finance team members, ensuring high performance.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
  7. Strategic Advisory:
    • Provide financial guidance to support strategic decision-making.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities, business ventures, and expansion plans.
    • Partner with senior management to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  8. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as the main point of contact for financial matters with stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and investors.
    • Prepare financial documents for board meetings and shareholder communications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, including leadership roles.
    • Proven track record of managing budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of financial management software and tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  4. Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
