JOB DESCRIPTIONS


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the firm’s financial records using QuickBooks and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Ghana's tax laws and regulations, including filing of taxes and statutory deductions (e.g., VAT, PAYE, SSNIT).
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage invoices, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and cost management.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as required.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • In-depth understanding of Ghana’s tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications like ACCA, CA, or CPA are an added advantage).
