JOB DESCRIPTION
What you’ll do
- Provide clear financial analysis and insights to our stakeholders to support better outcomes and solutions for our business
- Understand and utilise data to develop analysis and then communicate this back to the business to allow for better decisions and outcomes
- Manage high-profile and complex projects (such as Commercial Value Delivery and Member Vision), working with senior leaders and the Finance Business Partner, providing financial challenge, and making sure outcomes are delivered
- Get relevant financial and non-financial inputs to model scenarios to make recommendations to optimise business performance
- Support the development of analysts within the team and share best practice across the wider team to ensure consistency
- Find new techniques and methodologies to drive budgeting, forecasting and insights whilst driving continuous improvements
This role would suit people who have
- An accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
- The ability to prioritise the right tasks in a complex, changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to financial and non-financial partners, challenging and influencing where necessary
- Support communication with the leadership teams to make sure they can make well informed decisions that improve business performance and helping to tell the story of performance
- A growth and analytical mindset, with a drive to look for continuous improvements with the ability to confidently deal with ambiguity
